For all the ship shots we attached our model ship to a microphone stand. We then but a green screen behind it and one of us would slowly tilt the ship to give a dimensional look. The starfield was created by a software program. We originally painted Rico's wall black and put white dots all over it; we then decided a CG starfield was much better.
